The Virtual Haus Having never listened to The Mashmallow Ghosts but plenty of The Casket Girls, I was surprised to find that their sound was not that different — though Ryan Graveface also takes over as lead vocalist for a few turns, and there are more instrumentals here than on The Casket Girls. This album captures the precarious balance that Savannah, GA maintains as dated, modern, historic, renovated, beautiful, and creepy and weird as I can best imagine . Favorite track: Seance at Murder Tract.

Nate Burr Absolutely drenched in aesthetic and careful attention to atmosphere and ambiance. Old timey Halloween feels, with dust and peeling paint. Complete with plastic jack-o-lanterns and hand-made costumes.

Kinda like evil STRFKR. Favorite track: It Won't Be Long.
